Display and Profile

Setting Up Your Gravatar

A Gravatar is a Globally Recognized Avatar. It is an image that represents you online. Once you upload a picture and create a public profile, it will automatically appear on any Gravatar-enabled site you interact with.

Steps to Set Up Your Gravatar:

  1. Visit Gravatar and click Create your Gravatar.
  2. Log in using your rtCamp credentials or your existing WordPress account.
  3. Choose an image, then add rtCamp email ID to sync with it. If you have a WordPress account, just add rtCamp email and image to link them.
💡 You can upload multiple images for different accounts, but please sync the same image across all your rtCamp accounts, including Gmail.

Display Picture Guidelines

In our remote work environment, it’s essential for rtCampers to recognize each other’s faces. To help with this, please upload a clear portrait picture for your Slack/Gravatar profile. Here are some simple guidelines to follow:

  • Choose a photo where you’re looking at the camera.
  • Smile genuinely (showing teeth is fine).
  • Ensure the image isn’t too zoomed in; include a bit of background that is not too buddy or crowded.
  • Use a square (1:1 ratio) dimension for the picture.
