We have tailored our device policy to ensure we’re meeting rtCamper needs for all engagement types and throughout their professional journey at rtCamp.

Associate Software Engineers via Campus Hiring

An associate software engineer is someone who joins rtCamp as part of its campus hiring process.

By default, a MacBook is provided to associates upon joining to ensure they have a professional system to start their work efficiently.
We understand that for most associates, this is their first job, so they are unlikely to have financial means to procure a professional device in the beginning. Hence, this privilege is extended to associates only.

• The MacBook provided to associates remains the property of rtCamp.
• In case of separation for any reason, the device must be returned to rtCamp. rtCamp will arrange for reverse pickup and cover all logistics costs.
• Using a MacBook is mandatory during training to ensure smooth progress and to avoid technical issues that are difficult to support remotely.

Associate software engineer will be eligible to upgrade their device and avail the 50% cashback policy after completing 3 years (cool off period) at rtCamp.

Lateral Hires

These are hires that come with substantial work experience from previous professional roles to contribute immediately to rtCamp.

• They will receive 50% cashback on the purchase of a new laptop or desktop device after completing their probation period. Usually, this is a 6-month period.
• No benefits will be provided for early exits before the scheduled payout date.

Confirmed rtCampers

Applicable only for those who did not start their journey as an associate software engineer.

rtCampers that have successfully completed their probation period will receive a 50% cashback on the purchase of a new laptop or desktop device.

• This cashback will be given as an incentive in your upcoming paycheck.
• The rtCamper remains the proud owner of the device from the time of purchase.

Please note:

• Cashback will be subject to local tax.
• Cashback will be 50% cost of the device purchased up to US $1000 or INR ₹80,000.
• The cool-off period between the purchase of devices is 3 years.
• If an rtCamper exits within 12 months of the invoice submission date, the cashback will be deducted/reversed from the last paycheck/invoice/Full and Final Settlement.
• The products purchased under this benefit should be for the rtCamper’s use only.
• Any expenses for physical damage done to the rtCamp provided device will be borne by the user.
• In case of an exit, Full and final payment will be done after the rtCamp provided device is received and checked. 

How to claim this policy?

• Communicate the device purchase to the HR Team by raising a Helpdesk Ticket on ERP.
• Provide a purchase invoice containing the rtCamper’s name, total amount, and date.
• Invoices submitted within 15 calendar days from purchase will be considered.
